On Sunday evening, under the bright lights of Ken Rosewall Arena, our Opens team stood tall and proud, claiming the 2025 Netball NSW Premier League title in an unforgettable Grand Final against fierce rivals North Shore United!
With every pass, intercept, and goal, we gave it our all... and when the final whistle blew, it was our Manly Warringah Sapphires who stood victorious.

This one means everything.
💎 What a Game. What a Season.
We knew this Grand Final would be a battle, and it absolutely delivered. After falling short to North Shore in the Semi-Final, we regrouped, refocused and came back stronger.
It was a game of moments. A game of heart. Our Sapphires stayed composed, courageous and connected until the very end.
Every single player left it all on the court. Every supporter lifted us higher. Each coach, manager, committee member, sponsors, MWNA supporters and volunteers behind the scenes, helped make this dream a reality.
From the first centre pass of Round 1 to that final goal on Sunday night, this has been a season we’ll never forget and is one for the history books.

We are incredibly proud to be a team made up of local athletes, coaches, and staff, with over 85% of our Premier League family coming directly from the Manly Warringah Netball Association.
Our franchise isn’t just about high-performance, it’s about connection, community and creating a legacy. The support of our pathways and our U23's, truly contribute to the success of our franchise.
This year was also a milestone of our champions, Sapphires Captain Latika Tombs and Sapphires Manager, Lisa Eady, both celebrating 10 years with the Sapphires. What better way to honour that than with another premiership together?
As for Sapphires Head Coach Mel Clarke, this is her third title with the Sapphires. Mel's leadership, drive and belief in this group have been instrumental in our continued success.

We’ll take a moment to celebrate and what a celebration it will be, but then it’s back to work supporting our Sapphires Academy tearing up the court on Sunday 17th August.
Because this isn’t the end. It’s just another incredible chapter in our story.
